A Real Estate API (Property Agent) is the professional responsible for managing the purchase, sale, lease, or development of real estate properties. This profession is regulated by Royal Decree 1294/2007, which establishes the Regulation of Property Agents.

The API acts as a mediator, advisor, and manager in transactions involving buying, selling, exchanging, or transferring real estate properties. They can also act as intermediaries in obtaining mortgages and have the authority to issue opinions on the value of sale, assignment, or transfer of a property.
